Cobra - Clubs - Shows

Hi New to the site, can anybody tell me if there are any meetings, runs, shows etc in Norfolk I am now driving my pride and joy a Brightwell Viper, in burgundy Red, I went out the last bank holiday and two other drivers of Cobra's flash and wave, so there must be more of you in this area:-D

servo cleanup and ally...

time for my winter project. fitting an ally bulkhead over the galv and the bad paint job the previous owner did. To do this the servo and pedal box needs to come out and thats a good time to check the reservoirs out and slave cylinders. Also fitting an oil catch tank, a malpassi fuel filter king to replace the halfords paper/plastic item, and a pair of quick release bonnet pins. First couple of months

I haven't been on the site for a while so I just thought I would update you all on my experiences over the last couple of months. I brought a Pilgrim Sumo mark 2 back in May built on cortina running gear with a v6 Essex providing the power. The car is not perfect but as i paid under £10.000 then you couldn't expect it to be but I love it. Delivery and first run.

Having won the kit and had it delivered I went through the stage of wondering quite what I had bought. I got the engine started with copious quantities of easy start, Backfires out the carb (timing out I assume) and flame belching out the headers, the side pipes were not intact. All quite entertaining. All my neighbours knew I had the kit car then particularly after driving it up and down the 30 m long lane adjoining my house, with a healthy roar and that was even with wearing ear duffs.
