Re: One year to go !!

Hi and welcome.
Are you looking to buy a kit or a push n go as there are loads to look at and try out?
I'm in a similar boat. Although I have made no budget or plan as I have learnt that 80% of kit budgets and plans grow legs and run away.
My plan is to B.A.Y.E (Buy As You Earn) cos I know that when I have a busy spell I spend my money on silly things, thus not puting it itno the pot.
Once I have the project The £££ will go there! Just the way I am.
I spent a few years reading up, visiting and learning as much as I can about the kits that I had an interest in.
Local club meets and shows are also a good place to go to see examples and ask questions. Although I haven't quite managed to attend some of them.

My Choice will be the GD. In my eyes, if your going to be spending that much money, you might as well get something thats been proven on the track as well as a very well built kit!
I like the way the body is a seperate solid structure mounted to a well designed chassis. Not to mention the safety and strength of the body.
But it all boils down to personal choice. What is it you want and how you want to use it, Speed & handling / authenticity / for show / daily use?

Lets just say, I cant wait till the Next GD Open day. Fingers Crossed :thumb:

Good luck in your homework and enjoy what ever you decide to build or buy completed.
