Re: Which bits would you referb/replace on Jag donor parts

Kevin.

Quite a bit to get your teeth into.

Front end:-
Brake disks, top and bottom ball joints, wheel bearings (not too dear and best done now).Wishbone bushes top and bottom, bottom wishbone pivot shaft (they`re usually knackered by time you get them out).Any nuts and bolts that look any way suspect bin them and replace.Calipers exchange from Wards (best price but sometimes takes a while).

Rear end:-
Bake disks again and calipers from Wards.Wheel hubs can be a fiddle in the end I got 2 exchange ones all shimmed up and new bearings etc. Not bad at £79 each and saves a lot of trouble setting pre-loads etc.Drive shaft universal joint x 4. Inner wishbone needle roller bearings.Diffs are usually pretty solid but have a look at the internals and check for play on the input and output shafts.Camber shims and you`ll need two imperial track rod ends for the radius arms.

I`m sure to have missed some bits but that lot should get you started, unfortunately it adds up to a few quid but it`s worth it in the end:thumb: .

Do you have parts catalogue if not go to http://www.ward-engineering.co.uk/ and you can get one sent out in e-mail.John Gordons do very fast delivery and good service however I found by using them and Wards you could get best prices.
