I`m not talking about the grease for the cam lobes/lifter faces - I have that as it came with the cam kit.
The additive I`m talking about is supposedly rich in zinc? Added to engine oil to replace the zinc which is removed from modern engine oils.
I`m not sure it is actually needed but it is recommended by most engine builders.
Whether it`s a waste of money or actually helps cam break-in I`m not sure, but I would rather "waste"a couple of quid than risk losing a lobe during cam break-in time.
