Cobra's in the rain

I know most of us try not to take our Cobra's out in the rain for obvious reasons but lets say you get caught out in a pretty heavy shower and you don't have a hard top or a softtop. You switch on the wipers, keep a good distance from the vehicle in front and try not to accelerate too hard. The water builds on the road, the spray gets worse, and you take the decision to slow down because you can't see squat through the windscreen because the wipers lift off at anything over 50mph. You pull over into the slow lane. Problem is the 18 wheelers start to pass you and throw up huge waves of spray. So you accelerate to avoid the 18 wheelers but you use too much gas...whoops...wont do that again in a hurry. But now you cant see again cos the wipers wont work properly. What do you do?

Try Clearsafe, a water repellant windscreen wipe that uses nanotechnology to repel the water. Manufacturer guarantees it improves visibility by 50% and lasts for 3 months. Cost around £8-10 on the internet or from those 'gaget' magazines which find their way through your letterbox.

My question is has anyone tried this stuff out and is it worth buying. I know from experience that driving a Cobra in the wet is pretty tricky and demands total concentration. This product might just give us all a helping hand.
