| Re: Harness Eye Bolt Problem I had to do the same thing.
I fitted the rear transmission tunnel cover then drilled a hole to line up with the threaded nut. Using a dremmel I ground down enough fibreglass to allow the eye bolt to rotate. You may need to use a couple of washers to get the orientation of the eye bolt correct.
I think the threads are mounted that low because of the height from the seat base. You need the belt to be pulling up rather than sideways when tensioned.
