Delighted to discover this forum. So many familiar stories!!!

I bought a Viper chassis from Ken in Bournemouth - one of his last. I decided to split the order and take the body later, but he'd gone by then. After a longish trail I ended up with a guy whose name I forget in the Midlands, who made a body that was so bad, he had to make me another one. Having to do a lot of re-profiling.

The doors are so bad I am actually having to split them, and re-bond with a slight twist to get them to fit at all.

Mines Jag based, with a Rover V8 and 5 speed box, and seem to be having to solve all the same problems as you guys on the mechanicals! Like getting it all in!!

It is frustrating at times, but I have to say the satisfaction is huge when it come right and something fits! To hell with bubble-packed, do-it-by-numbers kits. We're the real engineers, right?
