I bought a Viper chassis from Ken in Bournemouth - one of his last. I decided to split the order and take the body later, but he'd gone by then. After a longish trail I ended up with a guy whose name I forget in the Midlands, who made a body that was so bad, he had to make me another one. Having to do a lot of re-profiling.

The doors are so bad I am actually having to split them, and re-bond with a slight twist to get them to fit at all.

Mines Jag based, with a Rover V8 and 5 speed box, and seem to be having to solve all the same problems as you guys on the mechanicals! Like getting it all in!!

It is frustrating at times, but I have to say the satisfaction is huge when it come right and something fits! To hell with bubble-packed, do-it-by-numbers kits. We're the real engineers, right?

You've come to right place, there are several people here who are in a similar position to yourself or further advanced, so you can be sure that any problems you encounter have been found by someone already and solved.

Welcome on board and good luck.
