How are you getting on with yours by the way?
When the engine was reassembled I had the engine builder do the short engine, i.e. the critical stuff, crank, rods,pistons, cam, etc.
I was left to put the cylinder heads, inlet manifold, sump, etc onto the car.
I am not sure you could buy this for £4K in the UK, I think you would be closer to £5K with all the chrome, carb, clutch, etc, then if you are going Getrag you need the adpator plate, etc
I think you could get one stateside certainly, I'm really not trying to fool anyone with this and if I hadn't had the recent problems then I would have run it for a year at least before having to revisit the piggy bank.
If it doesn't sell then I will might follow Roberts down the EDA route, stroker with a dry sump aiming for 450BHP.
