I simply bought the cheapest Pilgrim option - vinyl. I took the view that these cars don't look particularly pretty in hoods anyway. Fits ok (took me 3 attempts to get it tight but that's my ineptitude not Pilgrim's) and , being plastic, does not let the rain seep through.
Bonus is that Pilgrim's prices actually include things like the hood frame, hood bows etc.:drive:
