| Re: Real Steel My experience of Real Steel is theyre really great for simple things, a thermostat, a gasket or two, or if you can give them part numbers etc.
Where they fall down is if you get certain staff members, they are incapable of understanding quite simple questions.
They are very antiquated system wise, and if you send parts for return, it can take 2-3 weeks to process your refund (even when they've got it wrong).
Great service if they've got stock (which they appear to have shed loads), but with the tendency to be a little sarcastic.
Theyre probably better face to face (anyone can be a smart alec on the phone it takes guts and a little street savvy to escape unscathed face to face...) but they're too far away for me to pop in!
Theyre kind of like a yankee car version of Halfords, but not so many spotty faces..
In their defence kit cars are a nightmare scenario, they're probably red hot if youve got a bog std Camaro, or Mustang or whatever; but the holier than thou attitude sucks.
In my opinion and expereince.
