Hi Tony I think the split clear tube option sounds like a winner.
Checkout your local garden or aquatics centre, they will have it in various diameters.
How old is your screen surround? I thought all of the ones supplied by Autobrass and Brasscraft were SVA friendly these days.
Mine passed with no issues last September down the road here in Cardiff.
