I'd guess it depends on the consequences, if you've got 0 points, it's only 3pts and £60..
If you're already on 9, or god forbid 12, it'd be worth fighting it as it would be your licence for 6 months, perhaps lose your job, perhaps be unable to pay the mortgage, end up in hostel, wife leaves you, turn to the booze and end up in the gutter...
All for the heinous crime against, err, well no one actually...
