Martyn, I think it comes down to personal preference between the 2. I like the look of sidepipes although the noise level is higher. Also as the driver the exhaust note sounds unbalanced because you tend to hear one side more than both together. The other consideration is ground clearance. Around where I live the damn speed humps make it like the shake & rattle test track at MIRA.
