I only hope they don't change the system
too much... It seems that the only way for Jon and I to get an age related plate for our Dax is to get 'someone' to put a 351W in an XJ40 and then transfer it to us as a donor car, in order that the Dax has 2 major component parts being used. This seems like chaos, and is presumably the reason why all your builds use 100% new major component parts.
How would a DVLA inspector have a clue whether or not the engine was taken from an XJ40, save for the fact that on the face of it it's pretty un likely!!
