The block smoothing was a part of the job to remove the paint.
I was there and some edges were so difficult to remove the paint so I did the all sharp corners.
It was easy to remove the all the bunch of metal, than just remove the old paint from the sharp corners.
I have a Hydraulic Roller lifters and that doesn’t need too much oil like the normal flat tappets.
Even they don’t need to have a brake-in period.
This engine will not a full race and just will produce 405 HP with lots of torque.
I don’t think that is needed to go so dip in the valley also because I have a mild cam, when the combo is based in some radical cam that introduce a lot of friction at the flat tappets and the cam, in that case we should consider the soothing of the valley.
