My personal opinion (assuming that Bob's hinges are the same as Ken Super Knob Cook's hinges) is forget them.
I must have an inch or so of play on the door with Super Knob's hinges so I am now looking at doing a hybrid version. It is a cross between my own design and the AK hinge. I'll let people know how I get on if interested as Martin (Tinka) and I should be looking at this over this coming weekend.
