Both the cars you have mentioned are 4x4 and off the line this gives them a huge advantage, especially in the wet.

Bog standard Yank V8 against Bog standard Jap racer and the Japs have it 0-60, 0-100 would be close and anything over 100 and the Cobra wins.

Like all cars they can be tuned and this opens up to all sorts of possibilities, but at the end of the day you can tune the Yank V8 further.

But then if you’re running a good old British Cosworth then all of the above get a good view of the back of your head }(
