I don't think it would be possible to separate AC from Shelby and Shelby from AC, if you did you wouldn't have the car everyone seems to like so much. Without AC Shelby wouldn't have had a platform to work with and without Shelby AC would have been another 60s sports car.
I don't see why AC would bother with Smart to be honest. Craigs definitely right about the 'new' ACs, they should stop because it just isn't right.
