The actual hub itself is on splines on the driveshaft and should pull off once the above and big nut are removed.
They sometimes stick on the splines/seals/bearing so a little persuasion is often needed with a soft headed hammer to get them off.

You assume right, I've taken the disk and caliper off. I was actually using a screw driver as a sort of wedge by tapping it between the flange and the housing that has the bearing in it. I guess I just need to "tap" it a bit harder!
