Not really complicated - probably my explanation. Basically take your vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold or carburettor (full vacuum port only) outlet, depending which one you use and instead of routing straight to the servo route the hose so that it rises to the highest point alog the scuttle before letting it drop to connect to the servo.
Easiest place I know to get the valve is from Dax, its a neat little metal unit that incorporates an arrow on the body to indicate the correct fitting orientation. They are not cheap, but thats not Dax as they are not cheap anyway.
Make sure you get a hose marked as vacuum hose or keep the receipt for the SVA. I managed to get the marked stuff, but its not always easily available.
