Hi,

We fitted the inner wing panels to stop the heat from the engine bay getting into the cockpit. To do this we bonded in aluminium panels and then used a layer of ceramic aluminium coated heat mat which we bought from Car Builder's Solutions. Now there is no heat at all getting through to the cockpit. I just thought I'd let you know about the heat mat because it's a really useful item and I remember a post a while ago about someone asking what the best option for heat prevention would be. That's my recommendation,
