< Put road Tax on petrol so that way as you use which ever car you own say any one of the ten, the tax will apply. Also this way the more your car pollutes the air (more fuel) the more you will pay >
Paul
I have been saying exactly the same thing for years
The only problem is that fuel will go up by x pence per litre and then after the next election the new party that is elected will say it was not a good idea, bring back the road tax and conveniently forget to take the x pence back off the pricex(
The other problem is if you drive a gas-guzzler you would be seriously out of pocket
Just a thought
Paul
PS I always thought road tax was originally introduced to pay for new roads and road maintenance, so where are all the 12 lane motorways?
