Kev- my good lady was involved in the insurance business, and I can only say that when it comes to a serious claim, like people dead/severely injured, where more than 6 noughts could be on the end of a claim figure, the insurers would probably do anything to mitigate their loss. I feel that the only body that could resolve this might be STATUS, and I might just lobby them about it. We do have a real problem here, but because its "potential" rather than real, we are behaving like ostriches. Woe betide the first of our number to come face to face with it - I pray it's not me!
At least we have insurance - there are 1 million bas**rds out there driving cars without - and we all pay for it in increased premiums.
