Matt I have dealt with Adrian and i also know of 3 other people who have as well and he is a top bloke. He will guarantee the blocks against cracks and I think being porous ( but don't quote me on that ), if this happens he will just swap the block. The 3 engines I know of that have been rebuilt mine included were all on their original bore which was very encouraging.
