Sorry - impossible to move a piston through a cylinder without displacing fluid and seeing a leak. Something is not right here.
Can you observe the level of fluid in the reservoir when you push down slowly on the pedal? My guess is it rises, (and that is where the fluid is going) and that could well indicate a faulty master cylinder.
