Mark I do not have Dax ones in my car, but I understand that thier seats are notched at the back of the base which allows them to clear the chassis rails and travel back further, thus giving more leg room, this might be why you have noticed a difference, the Richfield ones may be narrow but do they have the same notch at the back?
