Are you sure the diff is from a Sierra? Have you got a casting number or ,better still, the number from the metal tag?
Mk II Granadas (up to 1985) all had 5 stud wheels and this was carried on to the Mk III. Don't recall any Mk II's having discs as standard. It's pssible that someone has used a Sierra diff in a granada rear axle and/or the hubs have been changed to 5 stud (my Cortina front hubs have been)
