The standard Jag brakes are more than adequate to stop a 2 ton jag so once they are fitted on a 1200kg car they are extremely effective.

I fitted new discs of the drilled variety but I would now advise to get grooved discs rather than have the risk of cracking. I sent my callipers to Ward engineereing who stripped them, Blasted them, Re Zinc plated them and reassembled them with new seals and pistons. I fitted EBC green stuff pads.

They work great on my Chevy powered car so on a Rover powered car they should be more than adequate.
