The problem appears to have been solved by replacing the master cylinder. Changing the seals in the old one didn't cure it - maybe the bore was worn more than I thought.
Just looking at your pictures - you have connected a pipe to one of the bleed nipples - can't see any reason why it shouldn't work but you should be aware that these calipers can be a real PIA to bleed sometimes. let us know if your system is succesful once you get the fluid in.
What have you fitted re shocks/springs. I appreciate yours is a different kit to mine but I'm toying with the idea of trying to fit coilovers to the Cortina front end. Is that what you've done?
