What a wash-out! A real shame.
I arrived around 11:15, having driven through driving rain and a few flooded roads. There was just one cob left when I got there, belonging to Ian (ramcobra123). Even though he lives less than 5 miles from Goodwood, hats off to him for venturing out in that weather - and to any Thames Valley guys who made it there.
Ian was having a bit of difficulty starting his RAM S/C, but I took his mind off things by giving him and his Cobra several circular tours of the car park, followed by an effortless (and fuel-efficient) journey back to his house.
Hope the car's sorted now Ian. And folks - I sincerely hope the weather's better for next Sunday's trip to join the Wessex meet in Horton. Surely the weather can't be this bad again?
