| The three grub screws used to hold the spinners on to my Compomotive HBs are bloody useless too; I've taken to checking them regularly. The hole drilling approach sounds good though. My other thought was to turn up a threaded adapter and drilling/tapping the spinner so that it locates on one big thread like a real spinner.
The first time I had a spinner come off was at speed and it went off like one of those Japanese fighting star things; it could easily have killed someone!
