I think mine must have fallen victim to "tolerances" as there's no flange. That or they just forgot!
Had another look and I think the easiest (least fighting with SVA) is to weld on a triangular flange between the outrigger and round bar running towards the boot. Easy to inspect. Can't see the wood from the trees sometimes. Just hope the body doesn't go up in smoke as I'm not taking the b****y body off again.
PS. Thanks for all the time spent with me at Stoneleigh Russell, am slowly getting all the mods in place including a steel skid plate under the nose to plough speed bumps out of the way
