The domed end of the screw on extention pushes the clutch arm forward.
Unscrew the domed extension, move the clutch arm forward, push the slave cylinder rod back into the slave cylinder and re screw on the domed extention. Back in out until all movement has been taken out of the clutch arm and then 'pre-load' it by turning half a turn.
