The front suspension geometry could well have moved about a bit with time, and not be within spec any more.m Only takes one clout of a kerb or speed hump to upset it.

If you have a vagueness, could well be lack of self centering, caused by too little toe in or too little castor, both of which are v easy to adjust.

One thing I find in my Crendon is that it tracks straight very well and has great steering feel, no reason yours cannot be the same.
