| I think it depends on the type of bell housing used with the Chevy. Mine was a repower. I had a nightmare with mine and had the boby on and off four or five times to try and get it to clear the bell housing. I had to buy my mates several beers after each visit. I think that is why AK now say not to remove the plastic lip and to mount to one side. I didn't have a problem with the washer bottle thank god.
