From what I can see most of the social / event side for the region happens off-line via email. As testified by the previous thread! There is a regional newsletter which goes around via email list. It looks like there are quite a few events planned during the year with days out, camping, tours etc. I have gone to the Midlands meet previously, but intend on linking up with my own region as well given my cob is now on the road. The weather isn't looking good for the weekend, but if Sunday is OK I will make it down as well.
If you PM me I will give you the region leads email address so you can contact him (or I can send on your email address if easier). Will drop him a line anyway so he can respond to this thread directly in case he hasn't picked it up.
