However, its not unknown for insurers to check on websites and forums for information, so if you post up here that you had your car built by Joe Bloggs Car Builders, and you have put it through as Cat A to get round emmissions, then you have falsified the SVA and the SVA certificate could be used by the insurance company to wriggle out of the claim.

Insurance companies will do all they can to wriggle out of large claims, and lets face it, the majority of our cars are insured for around 30K for maybe a £5,000 a year premium.

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.
