Tinka, I think you have missed the point. RCCob's setup doesn't allow him to fill his system without disconnecting the top hose and he does not want a filler neck in this.

RCCob, the stat mod is to drill and tap a hole at the highest point suitable for a pipe fitting of your choice to enable the air to escape, but it needs to be connected to the bottom of your head tank also. Craggle on here has done this to his Chevy.
