| Ignore that, I have just had a look at you blog.
On the Dax setup the cable has an adjuster nut on the outer cable at the handbrake end and one on the inner cable at the same end.
I had to wind the nuts on the outer cable almost to the end of the thread and the one on the inner cable all the way down the thread.
Works OK but not much adjustment left.
