I will give the compressor a go tomorrow. It nice to see that someone else as been the guinneapig, and been there before me. I intend to wrap the callipers in cloth and when one does pop out, I'll hold it back into place with a small G clamp.
I will let you all know how I get on, hopefully with all four pistons removed from each front caliper with no personal injury to myself.

Its funny but the more problems I get with the Jag runing gear, the more satisfaction I get from solving each one.
