Hi Craig, Whats happening
I have developed a bit of a misfire on my rover 3.5 engine, It was ok till I fitted the new jets JRV8 sent me. although it was running very rich before I changed the jets. I took it for a run and found the tick over was a bit high once the engine had warmed up, I made some adjustments to the air Idle screws and this sorted the high tick over, I also noticed one of the leads had dropped on to the exhaust. No thing but a brown scorch to the cable so I clipped it back in to place and off I went again to test it out. Fine when accelerating hard, but at cruise it misses and judder's. Got fed up with it last night, so I put it to bed and started again this morning. I did find the condenser very loose and rattling about on the side of the dissy, dont know if this has any think to do with the problem? went to halfrauds and they don't stock them nor do the local motor factors. Should I replace it or just refit it and see what happens? weather has gone crap this afternoon so I might just see if I can get one from some were this week.
