| I didn't get plates with mine either Andi - easy enough to make up though and then bolt through. Two reasons for doing them - firstly much easier to fit in the first instance but secondly if you bond them in once you've got them in the right position you can slacken off the bolts at any point to allow for fitting of things like door cards. |
