| Borrow a dial indicator gauge, jack the front of the car up and check the rims for run out in both axes.
Then eyeball the tyres for being out of round as they spin. You might even get the dial gauge on a central tread rib if you are lucky.
Then repeat for the rear - I spent an age trying to get rid of wobble at the front, only to discover it was actually a rear tyre................
