| I opted for a hidden master switch which only leaves the alarm and courtesy lights on when the switch key is removed. this does mean you need 2 fuse boxes but thats no problem.
The alarm I fitted (15 years ago) was a Gemini. I don't believe this company are in business anymore so if it ever goes wrong I'm snookered, It has a small box which I think is some form of microwave sensor (thats how it was advertised), adjustable range so it can be set for the cockpit with tonneau on. it also incorporates an imobiliser which is in the Low voltage side of the ignition. |
