| Megasquirt comes in at close to just under £300 quid for MSII ver 3.0 version (eg latest) MS I is cheaper. I know the fuelling is quicker and more linear on MS II, but dont know about spark side. Look on ebay for people selling completed ones built 'properly' if you're not good with soldering iron.
Bit of a waste tho, using megasquirt for only 50 % of what it was designed for.
