I have fitted an ETB sender unit with magnets on the daisy wheel, the bracket i made up is fitted to the cross member on the chasis but after a test run there must have been some movement on my diff as the magnets must have caught the sender and bent the fins.
Any help much appreciated.

I haven't got a picture but I doubt that you'll ever get it to work well with the sensor mounted on the chassis, the diff moves about far too much.

If you are ford based then it is fairly easy to knock up an ali bracket that uess the two bolts at the front of the the diff. (The same ones that the pilgrim mounting bracket for the diff uses)

I know that you have an ETB wheel but for the benefit of others heed my words that the pilgim daisy wheel is no good!
I spent ages adjusting my sensor 0.25mm at a time and could not get the speedo to work properly. It would be OK up to a point then just go mental after that. Fit an ETB wheel (15 quid) set the gap to 3mm and it WILL work just fine!

I don't know what the gap should be for an ETB wheel with magnets but I'm sure it is stated in the instructions. Your issue is that the sensor is mounted to the chassis.

If you still stuck and nobody else has posted I'll take a picture tonight.
