| Oil Preasure
Hi keep worrying about my oil preasure or lack of it on my RV8, on tick over its just above the gauge zero mark, running at 3000revs its just below 20psi, was running her with castrol GTX met some cob owners at a show and now read some old threads they advise 20/50 oil which i have just fitted with a new filter but preasure is still the same could there be a problem with the pump or could it be the engine is worn. some threads on here have said the RV8 is a low preasure engine. Rimmer Bros do a uprated preasure relief valve spring that increases preasure by 10psi has anyone fitted one and has it made a differance. Many thanks Dave. |
