Thumbs up SVA process

Futureproof

Having just gone through the process, I can say it was not as tough or painfull as I had been lead to believe.

The V5 I had from the donor XJ6 I kept and did not change anything just kept the SORN up to date.

For the SVA I had GD present on my behalf. All I had to provide was proof of ID, and address ( passport and Council tax bill) a selection of build photos over the build period. and copies of the receipts for recon of jag suspension and engine, gearbox etc. Test centre Nottingham.

For the Registration after taking the completed forms the my local office 2 weeks later a man from the ministry came round and inspected the chassis number stamped , the engine block number stamped and the block cast date/code. Test DVLA Reading.

Now on th eroad with 320miles on the clock. After it has run in I will get the carb and engine tuned.
