No - your MOT tester isn't correct.

Assuming that you declared your change of engine to the DVLA (and the V5 shows the correct RV8 ) then ther emissions levels are those set at the SVA. If they are printed on your V5 (page 1, section 3 - "Special Notes") then they apply at all MOT's. If not then the worst thing is that your car is tested to the age of the engine [4.5% CO, HC0.12] or simply a visible smoke test.

If however you haven't declared your change of engine to the DVLA, then I would suggest you do so before attempting to get an MOT.
